Deport Israeli military personnel residing in Sri Lanka: FLSP

The Frontline Socialist Party (FLSP) yesterday called on the government to deport Israeli military personnel currently in Sri Lanka without valid visas.   

FLSP Propaganda Secretary Duminda Nagamuwa stated that the Sri Lankan military police should take action against Israeli soldiers allegedly staying in the country without even tourist visas. “These soldiers are currently operating with a war mentality and are aggressive,” he said.   

Nagamuwa further claimed that “the United States is using Israel to destabilise the Middle East.” He added, “The U.S. is actively trying to create conflicts across the globe.”   

A joint protest was also held by the Free Palestine Movement and the United Federation of Labour outside the US Embassy in Colombo yesterday to protest the ongoing American demand for them to stop the genocide in Palestine.
