Education Minister meets Belarusian Ambassador

• Discusses education opportunities to Sri Lankan youth

Minister of Education Susil Premajayantha who had met the Belarusian Ambassador in Delhi and Colombo ANDREI I Rzheussky had agreed to introduce education opportunities to Sri Lankan youth. 

Ministry sources said the duo agreed to introduce well-recognized Belarusian higher educational courses. 

The duo also discussed ways and means to enhance diplomatic ties between the two nations. Minister also recalled assistance that has been already provided by Belarus in the field of higher education.

The Ambassador also had discussions with representatives of Skills Development Authority, National Apprentice Board, University of Moratuwa and Green University. The focus on these discussions have been introduction exchange programmes between both countries.
