Empowering Women! ‘The Road to Rights’ Hosts Inspiring Event for International Women’s Day 2024 at One Galle Face  
In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2024, ‘The Road to Rights,’ a prominent youth organization dedicated to advancing human rights, social justice and sustainable development is gearing up for a momentous event at One Galle Face Mall, Shangri-La.  
This year’s theme, “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” underscores the critical role of women in driving societal advancement. The event, planned for March 8th, aims to celebrate women’s achievements while advocating for gender equality in Sri Lanka. Renowned leaders from diverse sectors including diplomacy, healthcare, law, entrepreneurship, and policymaking will grace the occasion, lending their voices to pressing issues such as gender-based violence and sexual harassment.  
Under the visionary leadership of  Ashan Perera, founder of ‘The Road to Rights,’ the organization has tirelessly championed the empowerment of youth through a rights-based approach to peace and sustainable development.
