Exporting of toque monkeys Wildlife Ministry unaware of any such plans: Pavithra

• No request has been made to the Ministry regarding such a plan

Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation Ministry is unaware of any plans to export toque monkeys to China, Wildlife and Forest Resources Conservation Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi said yesterday. 

She told Parliament that no request has been made to the Ministry regarding such a plan either.  
The Minister said this in response to a question raised by Parliamentarian Milan Jayathilake.
