Free Media Movement gets new office bearers for 2024 – 2025

The new office bearers and the executive committee of the Free Media Movement (FMM) for the year 2024 – 2025 was appointed last week at its AGM at the Sri Lanka Press Institute.

The appointed office bearers are; Convener - Hana Ibrahim, Secretary - Lasantha De Silva, Treasurer - Thaha Muzammil and Asst. Secretary - Niranjani Roland. Also, the members Ananda Jayasekara, Seetha Ranjanee, Udaya Kalupathirana, Javed Munawwar, T. M. G. Chandrasekara, Sujeewa Senarath, Sunil Jayasekara, Chandrasekara Dodawatta and Dileesha Abeysundara were appointed to the executive committee.   Senior journalists Lakshman Gunasekara and Sharmini Boyle were appointed as Trustees.
