Galle Election Dispute Centre suspends former Minister’s dinner party

• Over 500 attendees had arrived from various parts of the district

A dinner party organised at a reception hall in Habaraduwa area by a former minister in the Galle District Manusha Nanayakkara was suspended by the Galle District Election Related Disputes Settlement Centre on Thursday.
More than 500 invitees had arrived by five buses from distant areas in the district to attend the function.
The food to be served to them was seized and handed over to the Habaraduwa Police.
