Gota, Vajira having leisure walk at airport on anniversary night of Aragalaya

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, along with his wife  Ioma Rajapaksa, was seen with UNP Chairman Vajira Abeywardena at the  Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on the night of July 9,  ironically the day which marked the first anniversary of his fleeing  office following the Aragalaya, a source from the airport said.   

Mr. Rajapaksa and Mr. Abeywardena had arrived at the  airport from Singapore on the same flight. The airport authorities have  seen them having a look at the ongoing construction work of the airport  and walking leisurely.   
It is learnt that Mr. Rajapaksa has arrived at the airport  from Laos via Singapore. He fled the country in the face of mounting  public pressure last year.
