Harsha, Kabir and Eran Rumours about backing RW

In response to a query made by journalists as to whether himself, Harsha De Silva and Eran Wickramaratne are to back President Ranil Wickremesinghe, SJB MP Kabir Hashim said they are ready to make a decision on behalf of the country.   

“We are ready to make a decision on behalf of the country. Difficult decisions have to be made now for the sake of the country. However we are not in a hurry as Minister Harin Fernando,” Hashim said.   

 Meanwhile, Dr. De Silva said that party politics is not important at this point. “Party politics is not important at this point of time. What is important now is to adopt a right ideology to build up the nation,” he said.  

“What one could understand from the speculation about us is that there are able people in SJB who could build up the nation.,” he added. 
He reiterated that whoever wants to build up the nation needs a fresh mandate.
