I will resign if proven I did the law exams alone in a hall: Namal

• Minister Samarasinghe should resign if he fails to prove his allegation

I will resign from Parliament if it is proven that I did the examination alone in the room and that I earned the law degree in a fraudulent manner. The Minister should resign from his post if he is unable to prove his allegation,” MP Rajapaksa told Parliament yesterday. 

“ It is the law college and the entire legal fraternity which will be affected by this kind of deliberate allegations. It is high time making deliberate allegations,” he added.  
The MP also said that he had obtained a degree from City University UK as well “You are free to hold an investigation on how I have earned my qualifications,” he said.  
Minister Samarasinghe who responded said MP Rajapaksa should mention as who accompanied him at the examination hall when he sat for the final exam of his law degree.
