Increase in malnutrition among SL children under five years increases

Malnutrition among Sri Lankan children under five years has increased during the years 2021 and 2022, Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella told Parliament yesterday.   

Minister Rambukwella said one of the major reasons for the increase in malnutrition is the unethical promotion of certain food and the attraction of the parents towards food which is promoted.  

The minister ensured that supply of triposha will be stabilized soon.
