Man accused of Throwing eggs at Charles and Camilla’ Banned from carrying eggs

Patrick Thelwell, 23, pelted at least four eggs at Charles and Camilla, the Queen Consort, during a public walkabout in York yesterday.The Extinction Rebellion activist arrested for throwing eggs at King Charles says he has been banned from carrying eggs in public or going within 500 metres of the monarch.   

 

 

The student missed the couple and was wrestled to the ground by police. He has been charged with Section 4 public order offence and is due in court on December 1.    Thelwell told The Mirror his bail conditions include staying at least 500 metres away the King and not being allowed to possess any eggs in a public place.  


He said this condition was eventually altered so he could go grocery shopping.(Daily Mail)
