Claims he failed to exercise decisions taken by the Cabinet

Transport and Highways Minister Bandula Gunawardena informed Chairman of Sri Lanka Transport Board Kingsley Ranawaka to resign from office, a statement from the Ministry said.

The statement said the minister took this decision in terms of the law since the chairman failed to exercise decisions taken by the Cabinet .
