Ministerial consultative committee decides to cancel nominations for lG polls

• Nominations for the local government election were called in January this year

A vital decision was made yesterday by a major  parliamentary committee to cancel the nominations called for the local  government election, indicating that the election will not be held in  the near future.  
 
The ministerial consultative committee on Public  Administration, Home Affairs, and Provincial Councils and Local  Government held in Parliament made the decision to cancel nominations,  citing that those who have submitted nominations have faced great  difficulties due to the postponement of the elections.
