Murder of businessman in Thalangama Suspects detained for further questioning

• The Magistrate permitted to refer the samples of the deceased’s body for DNA tests

 The two suspects taken into custody in connection with the murder of a billionaire businessman in Thalangama area were produced before Kaduwela Magistrate Chamini Wijebandara and detained by Colombo Crime Investigation Division on Court order for further questioning.  

 The Magistrate at the request of the Police permitted to refer the samples of the deceased’s body for DNA tests.   

The Magistrate ordered to perform the postmortem and permitted Police to obtain data of telephone conversations of the suspects.
