NCMS against Ministers who do not work : Rohitha Abeygunawardene

• They cannot consider their ministries as their personal wealth

Action will be taken against Ministers who fail to carry out their duties, government MP Rohitha Abeygunawardene said over the weekend.   

“We will take action against Ministers who have failed to perform their duty towards the people. Accordingly we will have to bring in no confidence motions against them. They cannot consider their ministries as their personal wealth,” he said.   

“However we will be compelled to defeat the no confidence motion that has been brought against Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella if it is found to be an act of revenge,” the MP said.   
The no confidence motion against Minister Rambukwella is expected to be taken up for debate this week.
