Navin to be appointed Sabaragamuwa Province Governor this week

It is widely expected that former Minister Navin Dissanayake will be appointed Governor of Sabaragamuwa Province this week.

Mr. Dissanayake when contacted by Daily Mirror did not rule out the possibility, though he said he was not officially informed about the move. When contacted by the Daily Mirror on an earlier occasion, he indicated that he may be appointed as the Governor. Tikiri Kobbekaduwa who held the post earlier resigned from last week.
