Next school holiday will be from December 22 to February 2

Education Minister Susil Premajayantha yesterday announced the school holidays for the second phase of the third term of the government and government approved Sinhala and Tamil medium schools.   Accordingly, the second phase of the third term school holidays is scheduled to end on December 22.   

While attending a ceremony at a school in Colombo, the Minister said the new school term will then start again on February 2, 2024.   
The second phase of the third term of government and government approved Sinhala and Tamil medium schools in 2023 started on November 1.   
The second school term ended  on October 27 .
