Opposition Leader discusses SL political situation with Canadian HC

Leader of Opposition Sajith Premadasa who met the Canadian  High Commissioner in Sri Lanka has discussed the political situation in  Sri Lanka, Opposition Leader’s office said yesterday.   

 “A number of issues were discussed at the meeting,  including the recent privilege issue raised by MP Premnath Dolawatte who claimed that the recent Supreme Court’s decision to ask the Finance Minister to allocate funds for the local government elections is a  violation of legislature’s privileges.   The duo has therefore discussed the separation of three pillars in the state.
