PHIs remind devotees Ministry permission required for Vesak dansal

Devotees who organize dansal in view of the Vesak Festival were reminded to fill out the necessary paperwork and obtain permission from the Medical Officer of Health (MOH).  

“As we are experiencing rain after a long dry spell, there is a risk of spreading diarrhoea with events like these. We urge the public to inform the MOH and obtain our help, especially with requirements such as chlorinating water,” Public Health Inspectors’ Union President Upul Rohana said.
