Police Chief summons all teams deployed to investigate death of Shaffter

Police Chief C.D. Wickramaratne has summoned all the teams investigating the death of businessman Dinesh Shaffter to discuss the progress of investigations into the death, a senior police officer confirmed yesterday.  

Eight teams, including the Criminal Investigation Department, have been deployed to investigate the death.  

The police said that among them are the Forensic investigation Teams, Homicide and Organized Crime Investigation Division.
