Presidential report on Easter Sunday attacks Complete report handed over to bishops’ conference

The complete report of the Presidential Commission which probed Easter Sunday attacks were handed over to Sri Lanka Catholic Bishops’ Conference, Minister of Public Security Tiran Alles said yesterday.  

He said the whole report was handed over to the Bishops’ Conference by himself.  

Member of the communication committee of the Archdiocese of Colombo Fr. Cyril Gamini Fernando told Daily Mirror that soft copies of the report were handed over to the bishops’ conference.  

“It is not essential to examine and verify whether the CDs comprise of a complete report of the Presidential Commission. “The church may ask for hardcopies as well,” he added.  
The church in Sri Lanka has been asking for the complete report of the Presidential Commission since the report was handed over to then President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in 2020.
