Principal interdicted on suspicion of being up to no good

The principal of a leading school in Keppetipola in the Welimada zone was interdicted on suspicion of attempting to have clandestine relations with female students of the school.   

The suspect was a 55 year old father of two children. He is alleged to have made scandalous suggestions to the female students of the school through WhatsApp messages at night. A male student who disguised as a female student had sent photos to the principal who in reply had sent him his naked photos and informed him to come to school on a holiday.   

The schoolboy who had proof of the scandalous behaviour of the principal had brought it to the notice of the parents, teachers and past pupils who drove away the principal from the school creating a tense atmosphere.   

After a preliminary investigation of their complaints, Uva Province Ministry of Education interdicted the principal and initiated a formal disciplinary inquiry against him.
