Public Assistance for Kidney treatment

Parents seek public assistance to provide treatment for their daughter who is suffering from an acute kidney ailment.   

Her father Rohan Fernando of Rawathawatta. Moratuwa says that his ten-year-old daughter Chathumi had been suffering from a kidney ailment from her infancy and that she underwent three surgeries without any improvement.   

He says the doctors providing her treatment at the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital have recommended a kidney transplant. 

 
However, he says he is not in a position to meet the expenses involving kidney transplant and other treatment due to economic constraints. In the circumstance he seeks public assistance to save the life of his daughter.
