Quadruplets born in Peradeniya

• The babies weighing 1.3 kg and 1.1 kg at birth, were sent to the special infant treatment unit

A resident of Thorayaya in Kurunegala has given birth to quadruplets (three males and one female) at the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital yesterday.

The babies weighing 1.3 kg and 1.1 kg at birth, were sent to the special infant treatment unit.

According to hospital sources, the obstetrician and gynecologist at the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital are providing medical treatment to the quadruplets.
In the meantime, the father of the infants, Buddika Herath, said that he was extremely happy and that he will look after them with great dedication and love.
