Hilton Colombo hosted Rotary Pink Pledge Affair on October 29 —the culminating event of Rotary District 3220’s month-long Rotary Pink Pledge campaign – Rotary’s fight against breast cancer, led by the Women in Rotary initiative. This evening brought together over 150 participants, including Rotary members and supporters, all united in a shared mission to champion breast cancer awareness, resilience, and empowerment.

The Rotary Pink Pledge campaign, spanning the entire month of October, featured numerous impactful activities organised by Rotary, Rotaract, and Interact clubs across Sri Lanka. The Affair marked the campaign’s pinnacle, celebrating the collective efforts of these clubs and their unwavering dedication to raising awareness and supporting those affected by breast cancer.

The event’s two thought-provoking panel discussions provided valuable insights and fostered meaningful dialogue. Experts such as Prof. Aloka Pathirana, Senior Professor of Surgery, Dr. Lakmali Paranahewa, Consultant Interventional Radiologist participated in the event.
