SATHOSA reduces prices of 5 essential goods from today

The Lanka SATHOSA has reduced prices of five essential foodstuffs, including big onions and sprats from today.  Accordingly, a kilogramme of big onion has been reduced by Rs. 5 (Rs. 185), a kilo of Red Lentil by Rs. 7 (Rs.378), canned fish-local (425g) by Rs. 10 (Rs. 480), a kilo of chillie by Rs. 15 (Rs. 1,780) and a kilo of sprats (Thai) will be reduced by Rs. 50 (Rs.1100).
