SJB calls for impartial probe on Ali Sabri Raheem

The investigations on MP Ali Sabry Raheem who was arrested for trying to smuggle gold should be conducted without political interference, SJB MP Harshana Rajakaruna told Parliament yesterday.  

“We have got an SMS on the arrest of MP Raheem. This action of the MP will reflect on all 225 MPs as all of us will be regarded as smugglers. Therefore, it is important that a proper investigation is carried out on the MP who was arrested.   MP Raheem was arrested at Bandaranaike International Airport last morning.
