Semi finalists found in SSC Open tennis

The men’s and women’s semi-final lineup in the First Capital sponsored SSC Open Tennis tournament, barring one result was confirmed at the SSC tennis courts yesterday.
In the women’s open Saajida Razick along with Vishmi Serasinghe and Neyara Weerawansa won their matches with ease while Dinara de Silva received a walkover from Inuki Jayaweera. In the men’s open Gayanga Weerasekera along with Sharmal Dissanayake and Chathurya Nilaweera came out victorious while the match between Kiran Vairawanathan and Apna Perera was in progress. 

The tournament will continue today.

Saajida Razick beat Nelani Jayasuriya 2-0 (6/0 6/3), Vishmi Serasinghe beat Savini Jayasuriya 2-0 (6/2 6/3). Neyara Weerawansa beat Dinethya Dharmarathne 2-0 (6/1 6/1). Dinara de Silva received a walkover.

Men:

Gayanga Weerasekara beat Ganuka Fernando 2-0 (6/1 6/2). Shamal Dissanayake beat Zaidh Zihar 2/0 f6/4 6/4). Chathurya Nilaweera beat Dumindu Dilum 2-1 (6/3 5/7 6/1).
