Shortage of air traffic controllers; more to be recruited

There is light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to the air traffic controller’s shortage in Sri Lanka as Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva assured that more people will be recruited to be trained as air traffic controllers. 

Sri Lanka Air Traffic Controllers Association officials said yesterday.  “Minister de Silva whom we have met last week has assured that more people will be recruited to be trained as air traffic controllers,” Secretary Sri Lanka Air Traffic Controllers Association Rajitha Seneviratne said.
