Sri Lanka Awaits Release of List by Hamas to Determine Fate of Missing National”

Sri Lanka awaits for the release of the list of persons held captive by Hamas to know the fate of one of its nationals who is still missing, Daily Mirror learns.   

During the Israeli-Palestine conflict, three Sri Lankans went missing and one got injured. 

The injured person has now been discharged from the hospital in Israel where he was treated. One of the missing persons was found dead.  

The Sri Lankan mission in Tel Aviv is now taking steps for the repatriation of her body to Sri Lanka.  
In the meantime, the mission is in search of the fate of the other Sri Lankan who is still missing. Sri Lanka, like many other countries, awaits the release of a list by Hamas to see whether the missing Sri Lankan is among those held captive by them.
