Sri Lankan victim in Turkey Quake identified

The body of a Sri Lankan woman (69), who was reported missing following the earthquake in Turkey, has been identified by her daughter, The Sri Lankan Embassy in Turkey said yesterday.

This development comes despite the assurance given by the ministry of foreign affairs earlier.

Nearly 24,000 were killed in the devastating earthquake which hit Turkey and Syria last week.
