Student leaders ordered to leave

• The two student leaders cannot enter the campus for any purpose without permission from the university administration

The two student leaders, the former President of the General Student Union of  Peradeniya University Anuradha Vidanage and the present President Chamod Sathsara who were suspended in connection with their involvement in the alleged assault on former Vice Chancellor Prof. Athula Senaratne and the members of his family, have been ordered to leave the campus immediately.  

Deputy Vice Chancellor and Media Spokesman Prof. Terrance Madujith said the two student leaders should not enter the campus for any purpose without permission from the university administration and that they would not be allowed to carry on studies through the Online system.
