Sunil Handunneththi to contest LG polls to Matara MC

• Nominations papers handed over to Matara District Returning Officer

Former Parliamentarian Sunil Handunneththi of the Jathika Jana Balawegaya yesterday handed over nominations to Matara District Returning Officer Y. Wickremesiri as a candidate seeking election  to the Matara Municipal Council at the upcoming local government election.

He handed over nomination under the additional nomination list of the JJB. Other candidates in the additional nomination list are Attorney at Law Upul Kumarapperuma and a teacher Saroja Savithri Paulraj.
