Supporting motion to remove PUCSL Chairman SJB calls for explanation from Vadivel and Rajitha

Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has called for explanation from MPs Vadivel Suresh and Rajitha Senaratne for going against party decision to vote against the motion to remove the Public Utilities Commission Chairman from his post. 

Letters signed by Chief Opposition Whip Lakshman Kiriella had called the MPs to provide explanation within seven days stating as to why they went against the party decisions.   
MP Suresh voted in favour of the motion while MP Senaratne was absent during the voting time. It was reported that Senaratne was also in support of the motion. The resolution to remove the Public Utilities Commission head was taken up in Parliament on May 24 2023.
