Suspects arrested with four elephant pearls

 A group of suspects who attempted to sell four elephant pearls for Rs.20 mln, was arrested and the elephant pearls were seized by Seeduwa Police on Thursday night (14).   

 The police on intelligence received from a private informant carried out the raid posing as businessmen.   

 The suspects were from Imaduwa, Welioya, Palugaswewa and Pannipitiya areas and two of them being army deserters.   

 They were to be produced before Negombo magistrate last morning  OIC Seeduwa police CI T.A.L.Perera is conducting further investigations,
