Three arrested for gang rape of girl

Meegoda Police, investigating a complaint of gang rape involving a 12-year-old schoolgirl from Galwalamulla in Meegoda, arrested three suspects, including a young man, an elderly person, and his son, on suspicion yesterday. Investigations revealed that she had kept the incident a secret and only revealed it to her mother on Thursday (15th).
Police stated that the suspects were residents of Galwalamulla in Meegoda, and that the elderly man and his son were relatives of the victim. They were scheduled to be produced in court yesterday.
