TpA suspends MP M. Velukumar

Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) has suspended Member of Parliament M. Velukumar from the party with immediate effect. 

Party leader Mano Ganesan said the MP was suspended for failing to vote against the government during the third reading vote of budget 2023 and violating the party decision.

MP Velukumar abstained from voting for the third reading of the budget on Thursday.
