Training programme on mosque administration for SL mosque administrators

A delegation of mosque administrators from Sri Lanka will depart for Malaysia on Monday (15) for a two-week training session in mosque administration.  

This programme was made available to Sri Lanka at the request of the National Security Advisor Sagala Ratnayake. The group along with religious leaders met Mr. Ratnayake at the President’s Office on Thursday (11) before leaving for the programme overseas.

 
The Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs (DMRC) is overseeing the coordination of this initiative, with plans for additional groups to participate in similar programmes abroad.
