UNP candidates led by Deputy Leader Ruwan Wjewardena hand over nominations

 The United National Party (UNP) candidates led by Deputy Leader of the party Ruwan Wjewardena handed over nominations to contest the election to Gampaha district local authorities.   
 Later he told the media that the court ruling on holding the local government election was expected today (23) and that the UNP would be victorious if the election was held.   
He pointed out that the people were well convinced that only the UNP Leader, President Ranil Wickremesinghe had the vision to resolve the prevailing economic crisis and that they would elect the UNP to power at the local government election.
