Vegetable Dansela by Ananda Wijeratne

A vegetable Dansela to donate packages of vegetables was held at Pannipitiya in Maharagama by Ananda Wijeratne a trader from the Meegoda Economic Centre.  People had queued up to a distance of about two kilometers to receive vegetables. More than 20,000 people received packages of vegetables. Residents of the area said the Good Samaritan had held similar vegetable Danselas at Homagama and Kottawa during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
