Woman hit by train while talking on mobile phone

A 22-year-old woman who was walking on the railway track while talking on her mobile phone was hit by the Aluthgama bound train last night between Panadura and Pinwatta stations and died after being admitted to the Panadura Base Hospital, hospital sources said.  

They said that the deceased woman was taken to the Wadduwa railway station by the same train and later admitted to the Panadura base hospital. The deceased woman is yet to be identified, the hospital sources said.
