Young woman found dead in abandoned well Lover flees, murder suspected

 The body of a young woman was found in an abandoned well  in Kumarapuram in the Mutur Police area. The victim Nades Kumar  Vinodini, 25, was a resident of Thanganakar in Serunuwara who had gone  missing since last Monday   

 Her mother Arunachalam Sasikala stated to police that  Vinodini left home on June 13, to meet her lover and to get married, but she heard nothing about her after last Monday. 

 
 Police had recovered the body during investigations on  information that she had been murdered, and the body dumped in an  abandoned well. A bag believed to be that of the victim was recovered  from the well.   

 Police said that her lover was a resident of Kiliveddi area and he had fled from the area.   

Mutur Magistrate who visited the scene and held the  preliminary magisterial inquiry ordered police to arrest the young  woman’s lover suspected of the killing. Mutur Police are conducting  further investigations to arrest the suspect.
