Galle Face struggle site an impediment for foreign exchange earning : Susil

• Had steps not been taken to protect Parliament, no assistance could have been secured from foreign lenders and investors
   

Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said the presence of the Galle Face struggle site stands in the way of earning much needed foreign exchange in terms of tourism.  

The Minister, making his remarks to the press after paying homage at Bellanwila Raja Maha Vihare, said the government pays attention to genuine concerns of the youth in a situation with depleting foreign reserves.
