There will be a period of two weeks for applications to be sent. The sources said the applications will be processed afterwards.

Asked whether new members will be appointed to the Election Commission before the local government polls, the source said it depends on the number of applications.
“If there are many applications, it will take a long time for us to shortlist them,” the source said.
