361 Degrees, Sri Lanka’s leadingintegrated HR solutions partner, participated in yet another successful National HR Conference having partnered with the Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka (IPM) for the 2016 edition which was held recently at the BMICH in Colombo.
361 Degrees was the ‘Official Training and Engagement Partner’ at the National HR Conference 2016 and is set to extend the partnership with the leading authority for HR studies in Sri Lanka, having inked an agreement to be the Strategic Partner for IPM for the next 2 years.
This was the 13th consecutive year that 361 Degrees - formerly known as Wild Drift – participated in Sri Lanka’s premier HR conference. Chairman and CEO of 361 Degrees Rukmal de Silva was also nominated as one of the panellists who engaged with the audience during the panel discussion held on Day 2 of the conference.
During the 2-day event, 361 Degrees demonstrated their innovative thinking by organizing a unique competition where participants were given an opportunity to submit ideas on ‘Creating happiness at work’ using what they learnt at the conference. The ideas were collected via SMS and through the official Facebook fan page of IPM Sri Lanka.
The winner was given the option of choosing between 361 Singapore dollars or a return air ticket to Singapore.
In addition to this, all participants were given an opportunity to obtain a DISC Survey, a behaviour assessment tool which focuses on four different behavioural traits, done free-of-charge.
The service, which included the online survey, report, analysis, and a free session of real life application and coaching, received a very positive response from the participants as they were able to get a clear understanding of their behavioural strengths and weaknesses.
Commenting on the company’s growing ties with the IPM, Rukmal De Silva, who is also the Chief Visionary Officer of 361 Degrees stated: “The IPM is the main body in Sri Lanka when it comes to all matters related to HR and the National HR Conference is known to be the most inclusive learning forum for the HR community in Sri Lanka.
