Holcim Lanka celebrates islandwide distributors at Holcim Distributor Awards 2016

Holcim Lanka, a member of the LafargeHolcim group, a global leader in the construction material industry, recently held its annual Distributor Awards for 2016, recognizing its top channel partners for their commitment and performance.
Fifty three awards in total were presented to its distributors, recognizing confidence and performance throughout the year, with the coveted ‘Distributor of the Year’ Award being presented to two participants – New Central Stores, Pilimathalawa and Sakura Enterprises, Puttalam. 
Following a theme of ‘Ape Badhima’, Holcim Lanka celebrated its message of togetherness and the continuity of forging a strong bond with its longstanding distributors, recently at Jetwing Blue Hotel, Negombo. Awarding prizes was in the small, medium and large categories for both regional and national level. Each award-winner was fairly evaluated based on their sales performance, market competitiveness and overall business capabilities. 
Holcim Lanka Director Commercial Nalin Karunaratne commenting at the event noted the importance of the Distributor Awards. “This well-attended occasion, has time-after-time proved to be a memorable and noteworthy night in the Holcim Lanka calendar of events. This night celebrates the vital role played by our distributor network in developing the market for Holcim Lanka products. Additionally, this is proof that our distributors are our true partners in our journey to build foundations for the future of Sri Lanka.”
The Distributor Award gala saw 77 distributors and their families in attendance at the event, vying to leave their mark on Holcim 
Lanka history.
Holcim Lanka’s distributor channel is spread across all corners of the nation, catering to more than 6,500 retailers islandwide, with relationships having lasted over 25 years with the company.
