Just In Time Technologies-SLASSCOM hold cybersecurity workshops

Just In Time Technologies (JITT), a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions and SLASSCOM Academy, Sri Lanka’s IT and BPM industry enabler for the country’s technology landscape, have successfully concluded the inaugural workshop on ‘Digital Fortress Building and Operating Effective Cybersecurity Operations Centres (SOCS)’.

This milestone event marks the commencement of a collaborative journey following the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two organisations. 

The workshop was led by JITT CEO and Cloud Security Alliance Sri Lanka Chapter President Neranjan Dissanayake. Dissanayake is a renowned expert in cybersecurity strategy and operations. With over 15 years of experience in the field, Neranjan brought invaluable insights and practical knowledge to the participants.
Attended by more than 35 professionals across various industries, the workshop attracted participants all sharing a common interest and expertise in cybersecurity. 

Drawing from real-life case studies, the sessions explored topics on dynamic cyberthreat landscape, the significance of threat intelligence, strategic architecture of SOCs, effective incident response protocols and more.

Dissanayake went on to explain the ethos behind effective SOCs, emphasising, “Technology is just one piece of the puzzle.
