Speaking at the event Yoshioka noted, “As much as this event is about recognizing the relentless efforts put in by our highly skilled sales team, it is also about delivering a superior customer experience. At Toyota, one of our fundamentals is not to just make a sale but to establish a lifelong relationship with each customer. This is the driving force behind our success.”
“Toyota is world renowned for its QDR approach in vehicle manufacture which stands for ‘Quality-Durability-Reliability’ and with our planned network expansion a key objective will be to further establish QDR in our service experience as well. As a fully-owned subsidiary of Toyota, we want our customers to experience global Toyota standards,” further added Atukorale.
While the main objective of the event is to recognize and reward top achievers in the vehicle sales department for their contribution towards the achievement of divisional targets, the event also pays much emphasis on communicating the future strategic objectives of the company. Several key initiatives in terms of driving sales forward were also launched at the event.
Also speaking at the event, De Silva said, “Toyota Lanka will continue to strive towards innovation by embracing the Toyota philosophy of Kaizen. These new initiatives and tools introduced will help our sales team to improve efficiency and customer service standards.”
