Indian investors sharpen marketing skills

The Indian CEO Forum  Srilanka (ICF) recently organized  a brain storming session with  Prof. Dr R Srinivasan from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, covering a wide range of learnings on Strategy Management including “sharpening product features and positioning” through cloud. 
Prof Srinivasan is a leading practicing academic from IIM Bangalore who has provided leading edge consultancy to a lot of leading organizations in India and Europe.
Those who have seen the Aishwarya Rai advertisement for a leading cook-ware, would recall the excellent positioning. Prof Srinivasan explained how a large amount of input was got from consumers to evolve the product features, fine tune them and finally create a winning product and advertising. Prof Srinivasan was addressing a large gathering of Indian CEOs for almost three hours of what was an extremely interactive session. 
ICF, formed in July 2013 is a registered body with membership constituted by Indian investors in Sri Lanka, Indian heads of MNCs and Sri Lankan companies.
The objectives of the Indian CEO Forum is to promote and contribute to the economic growth in Sri Lanka through Indian investment, safeguard and strengthen existing economic co-operation, foster new economic ties between India and Sri Lanka, provide an open forum for the business leaders of Indian origin employed with Indian Multinationals and Sri Lankan Business and Commercial organizations in Sri Lanka.
Indian CEO Forum endeavors to showcase investment opportunities in Sri Lanka to potential new investors from India.
ICF intends to hold such interactive sessions with a wider audience of   Sri Lankan   CEOs in the near future.
