Wild Drift, the strongest brand under the 361 Degrees umbrella, celebrated a momentous milestone as they completed the brand’s 1000th corporate activity based training programme amidst rivalry, adventure and tribal war cries in Udawalawe, recently.

Wild Drift is also the only corporate training company in Sri Lanka to have surpassed the milestone of 1000 adventure-based programmes.

Over 60 star performers of NDB’s sales team took part in the two-day training, titled ‘Tribes of Walawe’, which was based exclusively on a tribal theme and included focused team building and leadership activities aimed at enriching organisational performance through experiential learning.

Expressing his sentiments, 361 Degrees Chief Visionary Officer Rukmal de Silva said, “Wild Drift specializes in offering innovative training solutions tailor-made to meet the requirements of each and every one of our clients. What we aim for is to provide the participants with a robust experience through which we help provide holistic solutions to a variety of HR-related issues companies face at present.”

Speaking further, he said, “The Tribes of Walawe was a very uniquely fashioned training programme which we believe was an enriching experience for participants. This was also a special milestone for Wild Drift as we reached the successful completion of our 1000th programme.”

The participants engaged in activities such as the Tribalympics, which consisted of a series of competitions such as the Diyabariya Challenge, Ball in the Blind Alley, Aim Game, Lock Me Out and Keep it Straighter, an adventure-packed game of land grab and a tribal night of merriment which called for the teams to craft their own costumes and adornments as they gathered around a bonfire for the night.

Having worked with over 250 corporates in Sri Lanka and overseas as a Human Activations partner, the 361 team is renowned among their clientele for the tailor-made and effective solutions they offer.

The Tribes of Walawe was the first theme-based adventure training programme piloted by Wild Drift which made the experience all the more significant for team Wild Drift as well as the participants. This is also the first of its kind to be conducted by any training solutions provider in Sri Lanka.
